MINNEAPOLIS, USA. December 13, 2023 – East View Companies is pleased to announce that it is a 2023 recipient of the Governor’s International Trade Awards. East View, along with six other companies, received the award from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at a reception on December 8.

In a press release issued by the Governor’s office, Governor Walz said “international trade is a key driver in growing our economy and expanding our job market. These seven companies have made an extraordinary impact not only here at home, but on the global stage – strengthening and growing our state’s economy. I’m proud to recognize these companies for their progress and contributions to Minnesota.”

The Governor’s International Trade Awards honor companies that have shown extraordinary progress and success in exports to foreign markets, as well as foreign-owned companies that have made significant economic contributions through their investments in Minnesota.

Now terabytes of specialty information from China, the Former Soviet Union and elsewhere flows through our data center in Minnetonka and helps to employ 200 people around the world and nearly 100 here in Minnesota.”

East View was nominated for the award by Global Minnesota, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to delivering programs that allow Minnesotans to connect and participate in the international sphere, and for Minnesota to extend its influence around the globe.
