Offered via the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) platform, CDMD-CDFD is the most comprehensive, highest quality database of dissertations from China, representing nearly 500 PhD-granting institutions, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Agriculture, among others.

CDMD-CDFD contains over 500,000 doctoral dissertations on a wide range of topics, including basic science, engineering and technology, agriculture, medicine, philosophy, and humanities and social sciences. Users can browse by subject or degree grantor, or search multiple fields in quick, basic, professional, fund or sentence search modes. CNKI’s Knowledge Network Node, literature analysis and citation analysis tools offer extended information and discovery of related content.
